To # 8, are you getting "Azureus did not shut down tidily"?? If so, instead of Xing out, go to "file", then "exit", and you will never see it again! :-)

I've used Az since I switched from eDonkey, and that was a long time ago. :D

I periodically try new torrent apps, but always come back to Az. When you configure Az correctly, and use a good tracker there's nothing quite like it. I also like the integrated safepeer. ;D

11) That doesn't always work - sometimes it comes back. The "...did not shut down tidily" warning is probably irrelevant, it still keeps downloading.

the non-resource hog way?

Azerus sold out and is now heavier than ever before , full of ads and way too intrusive , utorrent runs in my tray and does not weigh me down.

I still use Azureus out of laziness, but I concur. It's ridiculous. How can you still call it a BT client when BT is about 5% of what it does now?
